The Empowerment Zone and Enterprise Community Initiative is an interagency effort focused on the creation of self-sustaining, long-term development in distressed areas throughout the United States .

Zone Credit Consulting specializes in businesses located in one of the following federal zones:

Empowerment Zone

Credit against Federal taxes of up to $3,000 for businesses for each year of Empowerment Zone designation for every existing employee and new hire who lives and works in the zone.

Renewal Community

Credit against Federal taxes up to $1,500 for each year of Renewal Community designation for every existing employee and new hire who lives and works in the Renewal Community.

Enterprise Community

Credit against Federal taxes, and is more restrictive than Empowerment Zone incentives.

If your business is located in one of these zones, you could be eligible for tax incentives and flexible grant funds. Zone Credit Consulting will determine whether your business is in one of these zones, and calculate all credit owed to you for the current year as well as three years prior to your last tax return file date. Moreover, ZCC will position your company to be able to maximize these credits and incentives going forward. Proper paperwork, organization, and cognizance of the program will insure your business will claim all that it is owed.
